CORPORATE

Novum headquarters is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Science, Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Administration are centralized in Corporate.  Each Clinic is staffed with corporate personnel who provide these services to the Clinic.  Centralized reporting and common SOPs allow us to maintain our high standards for study consistency, accuracy and compliance across all sites.

CLINICAL TRIALS

Our Clinical Trials group is headquartered in Pittsburgh and has a satellite operation in Las Vegas.  Each office has a staff of CRAs and Project Managers.  Pittsburgh is the location of the CRA Academy.

CLINICS

Novum runs three Phase I clinics located in Houston, Las Vegas and Pittsburgh.  Total bed capacity is 550. All clinics are operated under identical structures and SOPs.  This allows us tremendous flexibility in scheduling studies and access to participant populations.  Each Clinic is fully outfitted with sample handling processing and storage equipment.  The Clinics have handled everything from Outpatient studies to those requiring lengthy stays.

Pittsburgh is our original Clinic.  It has 125 beds in 4 clinics.    Located in the heart of the city, we are within walking distance of two major medical centers.  This provides us access to an experienced pool of medical staff.  Pittsburgh's five universities provide access to a large population of young volunteers.  In addition, Pittsburgh's growing older population gives us a pool of potential participants for specialized studies.

Houston houses our largest clinic.  It currently has 225 beds in 6 clinics.  Fully staffed with an experienced team of professionals, it can handle the most complicated of studies.  Houston, the fourth largest metropolitan area in the country, provides us with a very large and ethnically diverse population from which to recruit.  Novum is the only Phase I clinic in the Houston area.  Located on the outer SW expressway, we are easily accessible by both car and public transportation.

Las Vegas is our newest clinic.  It currently has 200 beds spread across 6 clinics.  Opened in 2004, its modern facilities combined with Novum’s longstanding experience provide the perfect mixture for a successful study.  Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country.  Our clinic is located three miles from the University of Las Vegas and four miles from the Las Vegas strip.
